A technique to check whether the picture is original or edited.

 कुछ दिनों से facebook पर fake pictures देख रहा हु...  हमारे internet क्रांतिकारी साथी इन fake pictures को शेयर कर देते है और उसके बाद तो मानो वो पिक्चर आग की तरह फेल जाती है ....  इसमें internet क्रांतिकारी साथीयो की कोई गलती नहीं है, समस्या ये है की आखिर पिक्चर की सत्यता की जाच कैसे की जाये ... 


Here is the Solution -

JPEGsnoop एक portable software है, अर्थात इस software को install करने की जरुरत नहीं है, केवल exe फाइल को रन करके इसका उपयोग किया जा सकता है ....

यदि कोई पिक्चर imaginary है (कैमरा से खिची हुई नहीं है, सॉफ्टवेर के द्वारा पिक्चर को बनाया है ) या कैमरा से खिची हुई पिक्चर में बाद में कुछ एडिट या modify किया है तो इस बात का पता इस सॉफ्टवेर से लगाया जा सकता है...

Steps -

1)  इस सॉफ्टवेर की zip file को  download  kare.   (zip file - 532 KB  and  exe file - 1.3 MB)
2)  zip file को unzip करे और exe file को उसमे से extract करले.

3)  अब exe (software) file को रन करे ...
 4 )  अब file menu में जा कर open पर क्लिक करे एवं  जिस पिक्चर की सत्यता परखनी है उसको browse करले.

5 )  अब उस पिक्चर की पूरी कुंडली खुल जाएगी ... कुंडली technical language में रहेगी इसलिए कष्ट से बचने के लिए सिर्फ मुद्दे की लाइन पढ़िए ... मुद्दे की लाइन को पढने के लिए software ने जो रिपोर्ट show की है उसमे  निचे की तरफ स्क्रोल कीजिये और सबसे आखरी लाइन पर ले जाइये ... 

यदि  "ASSESSMENT: Class 1 - Image is processed/edited"  लिखा हुआ है तो इसका मतलब है की पिक्चर को edit किया गया है.....

और यदि "no compression signatures" लिखा हुआ है तो इसका मतलब है की पिक्चर original है.

For Advance users -

   यह सॉफ्टवेर सिर्फ पिक्चर की सत्यता परखने तक सिमित नहीं है... इसके द्वारा आप उस सॉफ्टवेर / कैमरा का पता भी लगा सकते हो जिसका उपयोग करके पिक्चर को बनाया गया है.... ASSESSMENT  से ऊपर वाली lines में इसका वर्णन है .... 

For Developers -

    आइये जानते है ये सॉफ्टवेर कैसे काम करता है -  जब भी किसी पिक्चर को किसी कैमरा से capture किया जाता है या किसी सॉफ्टवेर के द्वारा ग्राफिक्स develop किया जाता है तो उस कैमरा / सॉफ्टवेर का signature उस पिक्चर के meta -data में include हो जाता है.... 

यह सॉफ्टवेर पिक्चर के meta-data  को read करता है, यदि किसी  फोटो एडिटर सॉफ्टवेर का signature मेटा-डाटा में मिलता है तो रिपोर्ट में आ जाता है की पिक्चर को एडिट किया गया है...

मैं चाहता हु की इस सॉफ्टवेर को हिंदी में या non -technical  language में develop किया जाये और रिपोर्ट को व्यवस्थित (organized ) तरीके से show किया जाये ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग इसका सही ढंग से उपयोग कर सके ... So I am gonna do this, interested developers can join me -
